Creative Corner,  the extended day program of St. Edward School,  is staffed
by experienced teachers and provides professional care, supervision, recreation, and enrichment activities for your children. The program is open to pre-school through eighth grade students enrolled at St. Edward.

Our schedule includes snack time, homework time and play time.
Other activities such as art projects, story time, movie day, and game day will
be scheduled throughout the week.

Every afternoon, a homework period of approximately one hour will be provided with staff available for assistance.
It is the responsibility of the student to complete their assigned work.
Parents should encourage their children to do their homework at Creative Corner.

Hours:
2:45 until 6:00 p.m. on full days of school.
If school is cancelled due to weather or for any other reason, Creative Corner will also be cancelled.

Fees:
Registration forms must be completed before your child can be admitted to Creative Corner.
A $10 non-refundable Registration Fee is required for each child.
$20 per family for two or more children.

$4.00 per hour (per child)
$10.00 per day (if your child attends from 2:45-6:00)
$8.00 per day (for each additional child attending from 2:45-6:00)

Please make use of the Creative Corner Envelope.

Envelopes (including your schedule) are due on the first day of the school week and payment is due by the last day of the week.
Regular and prompt payment is expected. Alternate forms of payment may be available.

A $10.00 late fee will be added for each week overdue.
When payments reach one month overdue, your child will not be allowed to attend Creative Corner until all fees are paid.
If a check is returned due to non-sufficient funds, future payments must be made by cash or money order.

Staff members are employed until 6:00 p.m.
Please pick up your children on time.
An additional $2.00 is due for every five minutes after 6:00 p.m.
This fee shall be paid directly to the staff member on that day.

If your child must attend on a day when they are not scheduled, please notify Mrs. Kay by 2:00 p.m. at
1 773 736-0252. Please leave a detailed message, including room number and time of pick up.
Due to the overwhelming number of unscheduled students attending Creative Corner,
a $5.00 fee will be added each day your child attends without prior notice.

Please leave a message if your child will not be attending on a scheduled day.

In case of illness, parents will be contacted and expected to pick up their child as soon as possible.

Parents must sign out in the log book when picking up their children.

Children will only be released to their parents. If additional persons are to have authorization,
please list them on the registration form. Identification is required and will be checked.
Also, Note any specific persons not allowed this authorization. 
It is important to keep your list updated.
The safety of our children is our Number One concern!

Children are not allowed to leave Creative Corner without written permission.
(Music lessons, Scouting, Sports, etc.)

Behavior:
The children who attend Creative Corner will be expected to respect each other, members of the staff
and the program materials. Progressive steps to improve behavior will be taken before any child is excluded from
Creative Corner.
