Listed below are a few ways you can help your child through his/her second grade journey:

Read to and with your child every night.  Research proves that this is the single most important factor for helping children read effectively.

Please practice addition/subtraction facts (0-20) with your child every night.  A suggestion would be to use flashcards or computer games.

Check your child’s homework folder and assignment sheet every evening.  They should always have something written in for each day.

Help your child to organize their backpack the night before.  Then, they will have everything they need for school the next day.

Our schedule for special classes is as follows:

Monday-Gallery 43 Art (once per month)
Tuesday-Gym and Music
Wednesday-Music
Thursday-Gym and Spanish
Mass is at 8:15 AM on Thursday
