Welcome to First Grade Room 1 !
We have been very busy from Columbus Day to Veteran's Day!
Eddie, the Eagle taught us to away from all guns, and what we should do if we find a gun.
Halloween was Spook-tacular. The children enjoyed doing scary art projects, and especially dressing up in their costumes on Fun Fair Day.
In November, we saw Ella Jenkins, at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Her performance was outstanding. She really knows how to bring the love of music from all cultures together.
We will be learning a little bit about the Pilgrims, and different Native American Tribes. We'll be doing some special projects this month, too.
