Welcome to the World of Computers!!

During the Second Semester will will be busy.

 

Fourth Grade:

 

Fifth Grade:

• The children are making a Database of all the Prsidents of teh United States.
• Each child should have a basic understanding of MS Works. They should be able to use the Task Wizard to make a simple Letterhead.
• We will use our Letterhead to write a simple letter to Santa and then we will use the same letterhead to write a business letter and learn to edit it.
• We will work with paint to draw s simple Christmas picture.
  

Sixth Grade:

• The children are using MS Excel to make a list of all the States and Capitals.
• We will use MS Office for some fun projects like Publisher for Christmas  Cards.

Seventh Grade:

• Each child should be able to type with two hands and be able to type a minimum of 25 WPM with 95% accuracy.
• Each child should have a basic understanding MS Office.
• We will work on different projects: Place Cards, Newsletters using MS Word.
• We will begin to use other parts of MS Office – Publisher for Posters and Christmas Card.
• After Christmas we will be working on Excel to learn more about Spreadsheets and Graphs.
• the children are also working on English Assignments as well as they will be working on their Confirmation Boolets.

Eighth Grade:          

• Each child should be able to type with two hands and be able to type a minimum of 25 WPM with 95% accuracy.
•  We will continue to use MS Office (Word, Publisher) for a variety of projects, Place Cards, Christmas Cards. etc.
• We will be reviewing Excel and Spreadsheets after Christmas.
• In addition to all of this the children are working on a typing project for the Big Red Auction.
