We are in the full swing of things in our classroom. We have just completed the 1st trimester.
What have we been doing?
In reading, we read a book each week and discuss what we liked about it, what we didn't like and have learned about sequencing (what happened first, second, last).
In Phonics, we have started to learn letter sounds. So far we have learned the letter sounds for: m, b, s, t, f and short a.
In math, we talked about position words, numbers from 0 - 10 including even/odd numbers, counting on and counting backwards and done numerous pattern and sorting activities.
Every morning we start our day with a story from our Children's Bible and then complete the calendar, weather for the day and days of school.
Gallery 43 art class has been a HUGE success. the children love going there.
