Student Council News – Breast Cancer Awareness/Pink Out Days

Student Council is hosting the following events in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
1. On Thursday, October 20th, Student Council is hosting a “pink out” day. Students in all grades who pay $1 may dress down in as much pink as possible!. All proceeds will go toward Breast Cancer Research.

2. Donations toward Breast Cancer Research will be accepted at the basketball games on October 24th. Players will be accenting their uniforms in pink. Fans attending the game are asked to accent their red St. Ed’s gear with pink!

3. Football players will be accenting in pink for the home football game on Saturday, October 22nd. Fans attending the game are asked to accent their red St. Ed’s gear with pink! The sales of all baked goods (some of which will be baked by our Student Council members) at this game will go directly to Breast Cancer Research.

4. All students in grades PreK – 8th can wear their Halloween costumes on the 31st. Please avoid any of the following: blood/gore, weapons, masks, extreme face paint, clown costumes. If students are not dressing in costume, they may accent their uniforms in orange and black.
