Principal’s News – Dec. 20th

December 20, 2017

Dear Parents,

Merry Christmas to each of you and your family and friends. May you have a happy and healthy New Year. Know of my prayers for all of you.

Thanks to all of you for the many toys that you sent for our sharing parish, St. Thomas of Canterbury. There was a truckload of toys. Blessings to all of you for your generosity.

December has been a busy month. We had the Santa’s Workshop thanks to Sarah McCann and her crew.

One of our favorite events is breakfast with Santa and the Cookie Walk. Thanks to Cindy Rosasco and all of those who helped to make this a very festive and family event.

Our students had the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation this past week. We are grateful to our priests for providing this opportunity.

Thanks to Susan BelCastro, Kim Ling, and Sr. Dorothy Marie for filling in as substitute teachers while Kim Malinowski and Nicole Applegate were on pregnancy leave. We will be happy to welcome Kim and Nicole back after the holidays.

Congratulations to Amy and Mike Vitale (Amy Marsh Vitale was our kindergarten teacher in Rm. 4 and Rm. 101) on the birth of their son, Sammy.

We look forward to seeing you on January 8th when we return for the second half of the year.

Merry Christmas and a happy, blessed, and healthy New Year.

Sister Marie Michelle, OP.
