Welcome to the wonderful world of first grade! I have been a first grade teacher at St. Edward School for over 20 years. I have my BA in Elementary Education and a MA in Reading. I enjoy traveling, shopping, reading, biking, and dining out with friends.
Our morning schedule includes journal writing, religion, reading, phonics and writing. Our afternoon schedule includes story time, math, handwriting, science, social studies and art.

Check the Home Folder each night for homework assignments.
Practice weekly spelling list.
Spend at least 20 minutes each night listening to your child read or reading to your child.
Practice addition and subtraction facts to 10.
