Greetings from Preschool Room 3 !
I am Robin Juran and I have taught preschool for twelve years. I must tell you that I truly love teaching here at St. Edward School. In terms of formal education, please know I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with a minor in Theatre from the University of St.Francis in Joliet,Illinois. Also, I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Speech from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. In 2010, I received my Master of Science in Education Degree from Dominican University in River Forest. My specialty is early childhood education and I really enjoy teaching children at the very beginning-preschool.
My full-time assistant and I, together with the children create a special environment where preschoolers socialize, play and share, pray, and make discoveries while learning so many things. The curriculum includes religion, music and movement,art,phonemic awareness, dramatic play,story study,mathematics,beginning science,social studies, and introduction to Spanish.
