Welcome to 2012. We’re looking forward to Catholic Schools Week.
The events begin with our Junior High Music Fair; this will be on January 28th. The 7th and 8th Graders prepare music projects which will be judged and they will receive 1st, 2nd or 3rd Place Ribbons. In the past some projects were judged as Outstanding. The projects will be displayed on Discover Sunday and the rest of Catholic Schools Week.
We’re also having an event on Discovery Sunday in the Gym. The Senior Orchestra will perform and some of the music projects will be displayed.
Our Music Express Magazine featured and interview With Renée Fleming, a well known Opera Singer. As it happens, she is performing with our own Lyric Opera Company.
An annual February event is our Jazz Program. We’ll be swinging on February 10th with the Flat Cats. The Singer with this group is Amanda Wolff, who is a graduate of St. Edward School.
