Full Day Preschool
Monday-Friday 8:00-2:45

It is my fifth year teaching full day preschool at St. Edward! I am a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in social work as well as certification in early childhood education. I enjoy cooking, traveling and spending time with my nephews Benjamin and Jonathan.  My husband Al and I just purchased our first home together and are very excited!
In my preschool classroom, the children are kept busy throughout the day with a variety of fun and educational activities and projects. The preschoolers are encouraged to learn by actively seeking and exploring centers that interest them including art, dramatic play, blocks, religion, computers, “reading” and writing. The students also participate in a variety of activities throughout the day to strengthen fine and gross motor development.   In addition, the preschoolers learn important life skills to help them to become more independent as they begin their school experience.
